There’s one less week between Thanksgiving and Christmas this year. Are you already on the hunt for the perfect Christmas recipes?
Every year, since I can remember, my mom and I have baked cookies together. This year wasn’t any different. We baked five different cookies over the weekend. I also can’t wait to bring our daughter into the mix next year.
While she won’t be baking with us, having her be part of this tradition will mean so much to me.
But you came here for Christmas recipes. Which I wanted to share some of my favorite Christmas ready recipes that aren’t all cookies.
10 Favorite Christmas Recipes
1. Gluten Free Maple Pecan Cookies
Okay, I know I’m starting with a cookie recipe, but these maple pecan cookies are just too good not to start with.
They’re crunchy, packed with pecans and just the right amount of sweetness. Oh, did I mention they’re also vegan and healthy?
2. Christmas Eggnog Waffles
What better way to celebrate the holidays than with a little eggnog? While I won’t be indulging in this tasty alcoholic beverage this year, I can with these waffles.
Using whole milk and just the right amount of cinnamon and nutmeg, makes these the perfect healthy waffle for Christmas morning.
3. Cranberry Cream Cheese Loaf
Another perfect Christmas morning recipe. This cranberry cream cheese loaf is amazing!
I love the pop of tart cranberries with creamy cream cheese and cinnamon spiced bread. Plus this quick bread can be made ahead and frozen. One less thing on your to-do list for Christmas.
4. Healthy Cranberry Orange Pistachio Granola
Maybe this is a lot of breakfast recipes, but I just love this cranberry orange pistachio granola.
It has the red {cranberries}, white {white chocolate chips} and green {pistachios} all rolled into one delicious granola.
Eat it for a healthy breakfast to kick off your Christmas time, or as a snack when you’re ready to escape your family 😉.
5. Cranberry Orange Shortbread Cookies
Man oh man. These cranberry orange shortbread cookies are ones for the books!
They’re vegan {if you eliminate the white chocolate drizzle}, dairy free and gluten free. Talk about hitting a home run in the allergy department!
Not to mention these cookies are melt in your mouth delicious with little bursts of cranberries.
6. Cinnamon Sugar Roasted Chickpeas
If you need an easy snack to take to a holiday party, these cinnamon sugar roasted chickpeas might just be it.
They’re a healthy version, made with fragrant cinnamon and pure maple syrup. This crunchy little snack would be a perfect addition to a nice charcuterie board.
7. Chocolate Cranberry Orange Energy Bites
Let’s talk about one of my favorite, healthy energy bite recipes. I might be slightly obsessed with these chocolate cranberry energy bites.
All you need is a food processor, and a few healthy ingredients like dates, cashews and peanut butter to make these energy bites come to life.
If there’s one thing on your Christmas recipes list you make this year, let it be these.
8. Healthy Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Skillet Cookie
If you have a Christmas potluck to go to, or love to eat family style, you have to make this skillet cookie.
It is literally like a giant delicious oatmeal cookie that has crispy edges, but a soft, gooey center.
Topped with a bit of vanilla ice cream, you’ve got yourself the perfect healthy Christmas cookie recipe.
9. White Chocolate Apricot Cookies
This was one of my first recipes I created for the blog, and still one of my favorites.
Healthy white chocolate apricot cookies are made with no refined sugar or butter. Plus the red and white make them a perfect Christmas cookie to enjoy after all your turkey and mashed potatoes.
10. Healthy Cherry Cheesecake
We’re ending with one of my fave recipes for the holidays. I’ve always been a fan of cherry pie, but not so much of all the sugar.
So for this Christmas recipe I made a healthy {and super simple} cherry pie filling to top a creamy cheesecake layer.
That crust, yea, it’s maybe the best thing ever. My mouth is literally watering just thinking about this dessert.
